The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) development and Belt and Road Initiative open new doors and create immense business opportunities for Hong Kong’s creative industries. The National 14th Five-Year Plan has for the first time accorded Hong Kong the important status as an East-meets-West centre for international cultural exchanges.
To support Hong Kong creative industries in participating in the domestic circulation and exploring international markets, CCIDA funds various creative sectors to organise exhibitions, exchange activities, etc. in other GBA cities and Belt and Road countries, or co-organise different projects with other GBA cities.
CCIDA also co-ordinates the creative industries to visit these regions or organise roving exhibitions there to promote cross-boundary exchanges and collaboration among creative industries.
