The "Bravo! Floral Sensation!" arts fun days, to be staged in association with the outdoor art project "City Dress Up‧Blossoming Stairs" presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and organised by the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the collaborator Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, will offer uncommon sensory experiences for participants.
Members of public will be able to enjoy outdoor art workshops, booth games and live performances on two Sundays in August. Visitors will also have a chance to enjoy art through other sensory channels in unusual ways, for example creating artwork by rolling a wheelchair across a canvas.
There will also be two guided tours on each fun day, one starting at 1pm and the other starting at 1.45pm, for participants to appreciate selected decorated staircases from the perspectives of people with visual impairment and wheelchair users. The tours will be led by artists and docents who will be able to elaborate on the artworks that have been applied to the staircases.
Admission is free. Registration is required to join guided tours and can be done online at goo.gl/64j35r (Chinese only). Members of the public are welcome to walk in to join other fun day activities from 2pm to 6pm on August 6 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza and on August 20 at Tai Po Waterfront Park.
