The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, will depart for Wuhan, Hubei this morning (April 27) to attend "2012 Hubei Wuhan Hong Kong Week" to promote Hong Kong's creative products and relevant industries. He will also meet leaders of Hubei Province and Wuhan City.
This afternoon, Mr So will meet the Vice Governor of the People's Government of Hubei Province, Mr Tian Chengzhong. He will meet the Mayor of Wuhan Municipal People's Government, Mr Tang Liangzhi tomorrow (April 28).
Mr So will also attend and speak at the opening ceremonies of "2012 Hubei Wuhan Hong Kong Week cum 2012 Hong Kong Trendy Products Expo, Wuhan", "Creative Hong Kong Exhibition", and "Hong Kong Films Retrospective" tomorrow.
"2012 Hubei Wuhan Hong Kong Week" is a large-scale economic and trade exchange event jointly organised by the HKSAR Government and the People's Government of Hubei Province in Wuhan. It involves promotional activities in the areas of trade, culture and tourism.
Mr So will return to Hong Kong tomorrow night.
